The 16-Week Beginner Half Marathon Coach-Supported Training Plan gives you a high-quality structured training plan plus direct access to one of our coaches who will monitor your training, and make adjustments when needed. This plan is best for getting ready for your first Half-Marathon.
This Coach-Supported 16-Week Beginner Half Marathon Training Plan combines an excellent structured TrainingPeaks program with personalised coach support. After purchase, we will add you as an athlete under one of our experienced coaches and upload your plan into your calendar. Your coach will regularly review your training data, monitor your fatigue and fitness levels, and make adjustments to the plan when necessary, whether you’re progressing faster than expected, or dealing with minor setbacks. You’ll also have direct support for any training-related questions during the 16 weeks.
This option is ideal for runners who want the security of knowing an experienced coach is overseeing their preparation, helping them stay on track and get the best possible result from the plan.
Entry recommendations:
Can comfortably run 6–8 km continuously at an easy pace
Has run 0–1 half marathons
Weekly running volume typically 15–30 km/week
Can run 3–4 days per week consistently
No current injury or persistent niggles
